Almost quintessentially, these images represent Bill at play. He is playing with colour and with tone but, above all, with light. I have certainly found it exciting to see an artist, used to the painstaking discipline of oils and other media, find a new medium after so many years. He has even been heard to remark with great delight how this freedom and malleability is more like the heavenly realms

Many of them are taken from parts of his paintings, others from photographs, and then manipulated and changed in the computer, sometimes blended with other images.

For those of you seeing these now, it is a chance to glimpse behind the scenes of an artist at work because all the working images are currently included, even some of the raw photographs, and you can see how some of the pictures have developed.
