The Flower of the Soul

A landscape in which the small daisy flower is seen opening to the influence of the activity and light of the sun.

Here the sun is an analogy for a spiritual source which is the Personality of God.

We can understand that there is very little chance of this flower, which represents the heart of the individual soul, knowing the nature of this 'Sun' until its petals have fully opened. Therefore we can see the problem of life being the bringing about of sufficient love and courage in the nature of the individual soul to enable it to open up its heart.

Each of us is aware of this innermost heart, and of the fact that we often keep it closed up or hidden away, because it is so vulnerable. So we cannot have life until we have the strength to carry this vulnerability.
