We prison you in worship
Not in play.
We use your love for happiness
And say, 'Your giving is complete
That we should be
The all in all ourselves. . .'

Those in the Great Gift and others

Click to see larger image We hope you enjoy these beautiful images which go to the very heart of Life. They portray many aspects of the nature of our loving Creator-Friend, and our relationship thereto.

If you wish, you may follow the sequence of paintings as they were in the 'Great Gift' where they were given a meaningful order. There are also thumbnail indices for the different types of art.

There is now quite a large section of computer generated art. Bill discovered the medium fairly recently, and has put it to very good use, remarking that, "This is more like the heavenly realms; it is so responsive and malleable!" Some of the images have been created from scratch, others are reinterpretations of originals, altered and enhanced electronically.

THE DAISY THEME

The daisy in Mankind,
The central theme,
Set for us to find
Amidst confusion,
Tenderly appearing,
Tenderly watching
Our chosen ways.

The daisy theme
Is making us
Unlike another,
Unknowingly, brother
To tender things
Of sweetly playful
Everlasting wings.

The 'Hand of God' is a prose-poem, but its content is deeply poetical, and it is included in this section.

Books and essays
The most profound form of intelligence is the most loving intelligence.
The most profound form of love is the most intelligent form of love.

Click to see larger imageBill writes with great precision to convey his meaning, and also to invoke the feeling understanding which is so essential to a full appreciation of his philosophy. These are not easy works however, and they will repay rereading time and again.

This section has a number of his essays on various topics, as well as others which have been published as booklets. You may either use the jump menu below to go direct to each essay, or go to the 'Prose' page by using the button above.

Some of the essays are available as booklets. 'The Great Gift' may also be purchased as a book, price UK £10.00 (plus UK £1.50 post and packing outside of Great Britain.)

About the Site

This site is quiet a large undertaking, and not all Bill's work is yet here, but it is our intention eventually to provide a complete archive.

There are a number of ways to navigate the site according to preference, and you should never be more than one click away from a main index page. Many of the headings are clickable, as are nearly all the small versions of the paintings. Navigation arrows are usually beneath the text. The up arrow will take you to the thumbnails.

The majority of the paintings were scanned in from books, but, in the past few weeks (June 2000) Bill has re-photographed the original paintings digitally, and these new, better quality images will be uploaded shortly. Eventually, all of the images will be clickable to take you to a larger version for printing out, or to view meaningful detail, but, at present, only some of them have these larger versions.

The pages are best viewed at full screen (PCs 'F11') at 800 x 600 resolution. Eventually, we will provide pages at 1024 x 768, but for now you will probably find it best to switch to 800 x 600.

As we are still building the site, not all the links may work yet, but they should say so if they don't. Any suggestions about how to improve the site would also be very helpful. Please contact the site editor.
